Caleb Ewan made it a hat-trick of wins by taking stage four of the Tour Down Under in Campbelltown.
Ewan extricated himself from a bad position in the closing stages of the 149.5km race and beat Peter Sagan and Danny van Poppel to the line.
The result had no effect on the overall standings, with Richie Porte (BMC Racing) retaining a 20-second lead over Gorka Izaguirre (Movistar) ahead of Saturday's summit finish on Old Willunga Hill.
Ewan (Orica-Scott) was also successful on stages one and three and, with Porte winning on Wednesday, home riders are continuing their dominance of the race.
Once he got into the clear on the slightly uphill run to the finish, Ewan was able to show off his superb sprinting form and again deny reigning world road race champion Sagan.
Team Sky sprinter Van Poppel made it three top-four finishes on the week and he was followed home by former team-mate Ben Swift, now riding for UAE Abu Dhabi.
The race for the overall title will almost certainly be decided on Saturday's fifth stage which finishes with the climb of Old Willunga Hill.
Porte has won the corresponding stage for the last three years, two of them with Team Sky before his move to BMC at the start of 2016.
