Sky Sports' live coverage of the Vitality Superleague continues with a clash between two undefeated sides, Team Bath and Loughborough Lightning.

Karen Atkinson's new-look Lightning will make the trip to Bath's Sports Training Village on Monday, March 6, in pursuit of what could prove to be an influential win as the season unfolds.

Four sides are tied on maximum points after two rounds, two of which come to blows in this fixture, which will be shown live on Sky Sports 3 HD and Sky Sports Mix.

The squads may well face a straight shoot-out for the top spot in the Superleague, as the other two undefeated sides will have already completed their third-round ties when the match begins at 7.45pm.

The pair are currently separated only by goal difference, Loughborough leading Bath by 26 to 17, although history suggests the blue and gold will triumph on the day.

Top of the table: how they stand

Team Won/Lost Goal difference Points
Wasps Netball 2/0 38 6
Surrey Storm 2/0 28 6
Loughborough Lightning 2/0 26 6
Team Bath 2/0 17 6

Team Bath have won the Superleague five times, and finished third last season, while their opponents have only once reached the Grand Final - a feat they achieved back in 2008.

Bath also won both of the rivals' meetings last season: a 60-44 victory at home, backed up by an emphatic 75-55 triumph upon travelling to the Midlands.

Atkinson's roster, however, has been bolstered by a flurry of international signings, not least 17-year-old Chloe Essam, who impressed as a super-sub goal attack in Loughborough's victory last week over Severn Stars. It might not be as straightforward as previous meetings suggest.

Sky Sports' coverage of the Vitality Superleague, which will include the June finals weekend, starts at 7.30pm on both channels for this decisive clash.

The question is: who will rise to the occasion, and possibly the top of the table?
