Rugby's governing bodies say Thursday's talks with Aviva Premiership directors of rugby were "amicable and constructive".
Some of the country's top coaches met with representatives from Premiership Rugby and the Rugby Football Union in a scheduled summit.
England head coach Eddie Jones was also in attendance days after Sam Jones, Anthony Watson and Jack Nowell suffered serious injuries on a national team training camp, Jones breaking a leg during a judo session.
The timing of the camp was an issue Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall planned to raise at the meeting, but all parties went in seeking co-operation rather than an argument.
And an RFU spokesperson said: "It was a good meeting, all very amicable and constructive, with everyone committed to working together in the interests of club and country."

"The nature of any relationship means you have occasional differences. The key thing is to work through them and find solutions.
