This week, Thinus Delport joins Rupert Cox to discuss the state of South African rugby, the quota system and whether the Springboks have got a chance against the All Blacks.
The former Springbok believes transformation was not implemented properly in South Africa and that the economic issues, with the drain of players to Europe, is harming the national team.
Turning his attention to the Rugby Championship, Delport says the Boks are making too many basic errors, pointing out their loss to the Wallabies last week despite leading 14-3 early on.
"For me the biggest disappointment in the Australia game was, in the last 12 minutes or so we had about four opportunities to go for the game, to get the win, but they weren't patient enough and through bad execution of micro-skills they coughed up the ball in contact," said Delport.
"So the last four opportunities to win the game after a close game, they spilled. For me that is a massive concern."
