Jake Ball is hoping to follow up his eye-catching professional debut in style at York Hall on Saturday.
The light-heavyweight, who trains alongside world IBF world super-middleweight champion James DeGale under Jim McDonnell, needed just 25 seconds to stop Haidar Sadik at the O2 last month.
Ball, 22, now takes on journeyman 'Mad' Mitch Mitchell, who has only been stopped five times in a 50-fight career.
Ball told Sky Sports: "I don't know really know a great deal about him other than he's quite a durable lad.
"I'll always be out there trying to find a knockout but I'm not going to rush anything. I won't force it. I'll box the way I can and when I see the opening, I'll take it.
"Last time out, I didn't expect to stop the guy in 20 seconds but he played right in to my hands by running towards me. Because I'm a tall, rangy boxer, I love it when my opponents come at me because it gives me a chance to pick them off and move.
"The first combination I hit him with ended with a back-hand right-hook and I saw him wobble across the ring so I just jumped on him. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my professional career - at The O2 on a massive bill in style.
"We've been working on the same stuff since. I'm working on fitness because after Saturday, which is another four-rounder, I'm going up to six rounds on December 12. We're improving durability.
"I don't want to hang around four-rounders and six-rounders too long because the professional game is all about 12-round fights. It's all experience but I'll be looking to move on as quickly as possible.
"If you were to put a world title shot in front of me now, I'd take it because that's the sort of fellow I am so whenever Eddie Hearn and Jim feel I'm ready for a domestic title shot, I'll be ready.
"I'll be looking for more sponsors to come on board because I'll definitely be fighting for titles next year."
