Rocky Fielding is confident he will deliver a knockout performance against Callum Smith next month and claim the vacant British super-middleweight title.

The Liverpool rivals meet at the Echo Arena in their home city on November 7, live on Sky Sports, looking to maintain their unbeaten records in the professional ranks.

Fielding (21-0-KO12) blasted his way past American Brian Vera with a second-round stoppage at the same venue in June, while Smith (17-0-KO12) defeated Frenchman Christopher Rebrasse by unanimous decision on the same bill.

Smith, who at 25 is three years Fielding's junior, has been touted as the best of a family of boxing brothers also including Paul, Stephen and world light-middleweight champion Liam.

But Fielding feels Smith has struggled to put away two of his tougher opponents in Rebrasse and Serb Nikola Sjekloca - also by unanimous points decision - and has vowed to prove his superiority.

"It's a great fight, one I am confident that I can win, and I think I will knock him out," said Fielding.

"He's been in with Sjekloca and Rebrasse, who cannot punch, and gone the distance. They caught him with shots that if I threw them, they would hurt him.

"He's a good fighter, he's doing his thing, and I knew that they would say they have not seen anything different from me. But when we get in there they will see what I am capable of.

"He's been putting away blown up middleweights with his body shots. He put Rebrasse down with one but he got up, take that away and what has he got?
