Billy Joe Saunders says he is willing to fight Chris Eubank Jr again

Billy Joe Saunders will happily defend his title against Chris Eubank Jr should he be crowned world champion this weekend - if the money is right.

Saunders, who defeated Eubank Jr on a split decision in 2014, has his first shot at a world title on Saturday when he takes on WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee in Manchester.

While Eubank stopped Gary O'Sullivan in seven rounds last Saturday, Saunders was less than impressed and told Sky Sports News HQ he would be happy for a rematch.

"I've beaten him. He goes to bed at night thinking about me, he's in the bath thinking about me," he said. "I can go to bed and sleep at night knowing I've dealt with him and beaten him, not a problem.

"Pay me enough money, I'll fight him next, no problem. I can keep Junior waiting as long as I want, I've beaten him.

"At the end of the day he'll fight when I say, so he can carry on fighting whoever he's going to fight, but if the public really demanded it, it's not a problem. I'm a fighting man and I'll have it with anybody."

Adam Booth - who trains Lee and Eubank Jr - said his camp would be keen to renew the rivalry with Saunders.

"I think the Chris Eubank Jr and Billy Joe Saunders fight has immense value domestically because of that genuine rivalry and that first fight they had," he said.

"It's the type of rivalry and type of fight that could definitely sustain a loss on Saturday, so possibly Billy Joe Saunders is going to be in my life for a bit longer!"

Saunders insists he is not looking too far ahead in talking about Eubank and admits he must be professional when he takes on Lee.

"I'm not looking past Andy Lee, but he's also no Gennady Golovkin," he added. "He's got to be treated with respect and he's got to be dealt with respect, and that's what I will be doing on Saturday night."

Lee predicts big things for whoever wins Saturday's bout. "For the winner of this fight there are some massive opportunities and a lot hinges on it.

"As well as the the belt, there's a lot of pride between us. So it has all the ingredients for a fiery night."
