Danny Garcia is not interested in a rematch with Amir Khan and promoter Eddie Hearn has already offered an alternative fight against Kell Brook.
Khan had been named as the mandatory challenger for the winner of this Saturday's WBC welterweight clash between Garcia and Robert Guerrero.
But Garcia's father and trainer insists his son has no desire to face Khan again following his fourth-round stoppage win over the Bolton man in 2012.
"It is between the WBC and Al Haymon and the managing team," Angel Garcia told Behind The Gloves. "To me, not saying anything bad about Khan but I don't even want that.
"There are bigger things in life. Old things out, new things in."
Khan is still searching for an opponent and angrily denied recent claims from Manny Pacquiao that a possible fight fell though due to his 'middle men'.
In a prolonged statement on social media, Khan also claimed that Brook has demanded a 50-50 cut for their proposed domestic clash and urged the Sheffield man to 'be realistic'.
He tweeted: "Manny and middle men? My team met Bob Arum in London, also spoke to Michael Koncz we agreed all terms and they said Manny will decide to fight either me or Crawford. The fight with me could have been in the UAE or Vegas.
"We were waiting to see who he picks and he decided to fight Bradley again don't blame me or my team as there was no middle men, for whatever reason they never wanted to fight.
"Brook wants 50/50 split with me, Wake up son and smell the coffee! be realistic and make it happen, even Eddie told you you're not worth that!"
But Hearn and IBF champion Brook have quickly reiterated their desire for an all-British battle at Wembley on June 4.
"Incorrect. Your lawyer asked for 80-20. We have confirmed we will give you greater split to get it made," Hearn tweeted.
"I was asked not to say anything in media re our negotiations but guess that's been breached! On Monday I met with Amir Khan's lawyer. He asked for a £10m guarantee with upside to fight Brook with Kell getting approx £2 to £2.5m. After I spat my coffee out we said no thanks.
"Since then I have been in discussions with Al Haymon's team to try and get this made. We are willing to take the smaller split to get this made but enough of the insults. @AmirKingKhan we will make this easy for you 60-40 in your favour - Kell is world champ - and you have it."
Brook added via his own social media: "There you have it @AmirKingKhan - put up or shut up. No more talk, June 4 Wembley Stadium for the world title. I will destroy you."
