Saul Alvarez wants to fight middleweight rival Gennady Golovkin next after defeating Amir Khan on Saturday night.
The WBC world champion beat Khan with a vicious sixth-round knockout with his rival sat ringside at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Golovkin, the IBF and WBA Super champion, would have climbed into the ring had Khan not needed time to recover from the brutal finish, but tweeted out: "Big respect to all fighters tonight. I am ready, @Canelo.."

"I invited him to come to the ring," Alvarez told HBO.
"I invited him because in Mexico we don't **** around, we don't fight for rings and things like that.
"I don't fear anyone. He can come to Vegas, I don't fear anyone in this sport. Like I said at my last fight, right now I will put my gloves on again and fight him."
Alvarez was not the only one who wants to see him and Golovkin fight, with Khan and trainer Virgil Hunter agreeing.
Khan moved up almost two weight classes for the biggest fight so far this year and although he is likely to go straight back down to welterweight, even he was looking forward to a middleweight showdown.
"I am one of those fighters who will step into the ring with anyone," he said.
"I think it's now the time for Canelo to step in there with Triple G because everyone has been waiting for that fight."
Khan's trainer Hunter is expecting to see his other big-name fighter, Andre Ward, take on fearsome light-heavyweight Sergey Kovalev later this year and also wants to see the middleweight match-up.
But he also told Alvarez to follow the British star's lead and take a gamble.
Hunter told HBO: "Amir took the risk, he gave up everything, no concessions, now it's time for him [Alvarez] to stop hiding behind little stuff, OK?
"Amir set the tone - fighters should fight each other."
