A representative of Orlando Salido has stoked the flames of ill-feeling with the Vasyl Lomachenko camp and slammed the Ukrainian's style.

Mexico's Salido (43-13-4-KO30) remains the only person to have beaten Lomachenko (6-1-KO4), who was considered one of the greatest-ever amateur fighters and already boasts world titles at two weights as a professional.

With 'Hi-Tech' now holding the WBO world super-featherweight title, his representative Egis Klimas recently launched an expletive-laden attack on Salido's negotiators as the two teams struggle to reach financial agreement for a rematch.

But Salido's advisor Sean Gibbons has told BoxingScene.com: "Last time I checked, first of all we never called for Lomachenko. They called looking for us.

"Second of all, we have the fighter people want to see. They don't want to see your s****y half-running Ukrainian style you call the greatest boxing of all time. Yeah, against a bunch of stiffs.

[What's best is] a 'fight of the year' between Orlando Salido and Takashi Miura. It's a no-brainer.

"So here's what we're going to do. We're going to make another fight for November, December that the fans want to see. The belt doesn't define Salido - Salido defines the belt even though he has no problems fighting for them.

"I've been thinking about what the people would want to see and what would be best for HBO? That is a 'fight of the year' between Orlando Salido and Takashi Miura. It's a no-brainer."
