Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora appear on course for a British heavyweight showdown in December.
The Londoners have exchanged jibes since Chisora gatecrashed a Whyte press conference in May and Don Charles - trainer of 'Del Boy' - would welcome the chance to pit his fighter against 'The Bodysnatcher.'
Charles told Sky Sports: "Most definitely I'd take that in December, I'd take it right now. Basically, it is the fight that my fighter Dereck wants and it's the fight the British public wants.
"The build-up would be very entertaining. I have a lot of love for Dillian and told him to take the fight. If Dereck does meet him, he will beat him in a match-up."
Whyte (18-1-KO14), who was last in action outpointing durable Yorkshireman David Allen in July, also appeared to welcome the prospective match-up.
In a statement accompanied by a photo of Whyte and another man, he said on social media: "Saw @dellboychisora. He said he's up for the fight in Dec and training is going well. #BINMAN."
Chisora (25-6-KO17) lost a split decision to European champion Kubrat Pulev in his last bout and will return with a bout against Drazan Janjanin in Stockholm on September 10.
