Dillian Whyte claims Dereck Chisora is hiding from him

Dillian Whyte has revealed he has offered to meet with Dereck Chisora to discuss their differences on several occasions but is yet to be granted an audience.
The London heavyweights are regularly trading insults over social media ahead of a prospective British title clash at the end of the year but Whyte (18-1-KO14) claims he has been left frustrated in his attempts to talk face to face.
'The Body Snatcher' told Sky Sports of Chisora (25-6-KO17): "If he wants to fight, he can have it. He's got to be realistic over the money, though.
"Dereck is all hype. I've asked him to meet me a couple of times just to sit down and talk and see if he really wants to do what he's saying but he's never turned up once. He just wants to keep on talking.
"I've driven to his area and been at the end of his road at his favourite restaurant. I told him to come and meet me there so we can have a chat. He said he was coming but then he didn't show up.
"Last time he kicked off, I was in another restaurant around the corner and I asked him to come and see me but he's just all mouth. He's pure talk and nothing else.
"Dereck is being an idiot again trying to keep his name relevant. This is a business and Dereck is deluded - he still thinks he's a world-class operator. He thinks he's going to be world champion and he's not.
"He's just being silly and what he needs to do is instead of fighting in Stockholm on some card nobody cares about, he should fight in Glasgow on October 7 and we can start building the fight properly."
Whyte has a softer stance towards Chisora's long-time trainer Don Charles.
Charles, speaking to Sky Sports last month about a potential Chisora-Whyte fight, said: "The build-up would be very entertaining. I have a lot of love for Dillian and told him to take the fight. If Dereck does meet him, he will beat him in a match-up."
Whyte said: "I have respect for Don Charles. He wanted to train me after I left Johnathon Banks and told me that I was a better fighter than Dereck and that I'd beat him.
"Don Charles' exact words were: 'I hope you don't fight Dereck any time soon because I believe you'd beat him.' Dereck and I have had wars in sparring. He'll say what he wants to say but I've handled Dereck before many times.
"Don Charles kept asking me to let him train me and told me I could be a world champion, but I didn't think the style he teaches is right for me to train with him so I went elsewhere."
Whyte is next in action on the undercard of Ricky Burns' world title defence on October 7 and recently added fellow Brixton resident Ian Lewison (12-2-1-KO8) to the list of possible opponents.
