Dillian Whyte wants south London showdown with Ian Lewison

Dillian Whyte has confirmed he wants to face Ian Lewison in an all-south London heavyweight showdown on October 7.
'The Body Snatcher' (18-1-KO14) appears likely to face another capital city rival, Dereck Chisora, for the British crown later in the year but has proposed a clash with Lewison (12-2-1-KO8) on the undercard of Ricky Burns v Kiryl Relikh first.
In a social media posted from the gym, Whyte said: "This grind doesn't get any easier. It gets harder and harder every year. I'm putting it in. Someone is getting knocked out on October 7. I don't know who it is but hopefully I get to fight Ian Lewison.
"I'll show him that I'm the best out of south London. I'm the best. Ian Lewison will get banged out. I have to keep telling myself: 'Chill, champ. Chill! Chill..."
The pair exchanged threats the previous evening, with Whyte challenging: "If you think you can do better than Dave Allen then let's get in on on October 7. It's an easy fight to make."
The 34-year-old 'Lay 'Em Out' Lewison, who was last seen recording a second-round stoppage in China, responded: "I genuinely know I can and if you want it, let's make it happen and see who's south London's finest."
Lewison, who was born in east Dulwich but like Whyte resides in Brixton, has suffered two points defeats in three and four-round bouts.
The last time Whyte clashed with a Londoner was in December 2015; a British heavyweight title classic against old rival Anthony Joshua.
