Martin Murray believes his clash of styles with Gabriel Rosado will lead to a memorable battle in Liverpool this month.
The St Helens man is back at middleweight to battle Rosado at the Echo Arena on April 22, live on Sky Sports, and is full of respect for the Philadelphian, who has shared the ring with the likes of Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux.
"Rosado is a quality fighter and I don't think his record does him justice. He'll go anywhere and fight anybody and he's been in with all the top guys," said Murray.
"He's tough and comes to fight, and that's my style too, so that's why I am excited about it, and the fans are too because there's no way that our styles won't gel. It's going to be a war.
"I'm flying in the gym and I believe I am a level above him and it will tell on the night."
Murray moved up a weight division after being stopped by middleweight king Golovkin in 2015, but holds hopes of finally winning a world title at the fifth attempt.
"I know that I still have a world title in me. Middleweight was all tied up with Golovkin, so I moved up," Murray said.
"Having gone up there and fought the best up there, they are big guys and I feel that I am better placed at middleweight. Golovkin still has all the belts but he might have to move up to get the fights he wants and that could open things up once more."
Murray's clash with Rosado is part of a huge night of action in Liverpool, as his gym-mate Rocky Fielding welcomes Islington's John Ryder to his backyard where they clash for the vacant British super-middleweight title.
Sean 'Masher' Dodd is also in title action on the night, taking on Lee Appleyard for the vacant Commonwealth lightweight title.
"Fighting for the Commonwealth title is mad - I'm over the moon," said Dodd.
"Along with the British and European belt, the Commonwealth is one of the big boys to win and it can really open doors for me.
"I've been in camp for a while, training hard and hoping to land a big fight and that's what I've got. Lee's a good kid, a tall and rangy boxer and he's big for the weight, so it should be a cracker.
The Echo Arena undercard also sees Tom Farrell meet Tommy Carus for the WBA International super-lightweight title, while Rio Olympian Joe Cordina makes his pro debut.
