Eddie Hearn says he has three potential fights for Tyson Fury

Promoter Eddie Hearn says he has three potential fights for Tyson Fury if he is granted a licence to return to the sport.

This week, Fury accepted a backdated two-year ban from UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), which expired on December 12.

The British Boxing Board of Control confirmed the renewal of Fury's boxing licence which will be considered in January.

Should Fury be granted a licence, Hearn suggested he could have up to three fights for the 29-year-old, including a huge bout with Anthony Joshua.

Hearn said: "The good news is he's now served his ban. It looks almost inevitable that we'll see him return to boxing, which is great for the sport.

"We've got three fights for him. He can fight Dillian Whyte on the comeback, then Tony Bellew and then he can have Anthony Joshua."

A potential fight with Joshua would be the "biggest fight in British boxing history" according to Hearn, and he confirmed that he had already discussed the fight with Fury.

Hearn said: "Team Joshua are over the moon because we want as many contenders as possible and we want the biggest fights, and Tyson Fury has to go down on that list.

"Tyson knows he has to come back in a fight or two, but we're ready and waiting.

"We've had a couple of texts backwards and forwards about his idea of how a deal should work. He wants a lot more than a 50/50 split, he's already told me.

"Certainly that's a fight that's on everybody's minds right now."

In the days after accepting his UKAD ban, Fury posted an expletive-filled rap video on Instagram in which he took aim at Hearn.

While admitting he was surprised at the video, Hearn does not believe it will stop a fight with Joshua from taking place.

He said: "I've got a strange relationship with Tyson Fury.

"When I see him we have a really nice time together and I almost think he likes me. Then I looked at his Instagram and he's telling me otherwise.

"But politics aside, I think everyone knows that fight's got to happen."
