Anthony Joshua says it would be good if Tyson Fury joins Joseph Parker for his ring walk and believes he has underlying respect for him

Anthony Joshua has brushed off Joseph Parker’s suggestion that he might be accompanied to the ring by Tyson Fury.

Parker has been on good terms with Fury since defeating his cousin, Hughie, in a defence of the WBO heavyweight title last year.

Sky Sports Box Office will show the heavyweight unification from Cardiff, on Saturday, March 31.

"It's good. It brings attention to the sport," Joshua told Sky Sports News about Fury attending his upcoming unification fight against Parker.

"It will be interesting because I am sure Fury will try and do a little tag-team and do a few rounds for him. He's just got that in his locker.

"No matter what he says outwardly, he has a lot of underlying respect for me and that's just as a far as I know but I just take it with a pinch of salt.

Joseph Parker says he is putting everything into his March 31 fight with Anthony Joshua

"I don't take anything from him to heart and if he wants he is welcome to walk to the ring."
