Tony Palladino signed a two-year contract extension with Essex.
Essex fast bowler Tony Palladino has agreed a two-year contract extension that commits him to the county until 2009. Palladino, 24, has just returned to full fitness and is expected to feature as Essex chase promotion from County Championship Division Two. "I'm really happy to have committed my future to Essex," he told the club's official website. "They have put their faith in me so I'm delighted to be able to get this opportunity to repay them over the course of my new contract."
