As the dancing girls at the first T20I took their leave, Bumble and Nick Knight leapt onto their platform to review England's 14-run victory over Pakistan.
Sam Billings proved himself fleet of foot and fast of hand while smashing a 24-ball-fifty for the tourists, while Liam Plunkett bowled swiftly as he collected three Pakistani wickets.
Bumble praised both players after England's decision to rest key men Jos Buttler and Joe Root paid dividends - and he also looked ahead to next spring's ICC World T20.
