Watch a sneak peek of 'England In The 90s', where Mark Butcher looks back on a decade of chaos

Defeats, victories and Tiger Moths… things were never dull for the England cricket team in the 1990s!

There were the chastening experiences of five Ashes series defeats to Australia and ending the decade at the bottom of the Test rankings, plus the highs of reaching the 1992 World Cup final and recording a historic victory against South Africa in 1998 - but never a tedious moment.

Stephen Fry looks back on England in the 1990s ahead of our special show on the memorable decade.

The show sees Butch reflect on a headline-making 10-year period for England, with footage of the key moments, including David Gower's decision to buzz around in a plane while his team-mates were playing in a warm-up match.

Butch hears from the players involved and the famous faces they captivated and frustrated in equal measure during the 1990s, a decade where selection caused consternation and the Barmy Army rose to prominence.

For all that, and to learn why chaos behind the scenes prevented a highly-talented group of players from succeeding more often, watch 'England In The 90s' on Sky Sports.
