Pakistan ODI skipper Azhar Ali and former Twenty20 international captain Mohammad Hafeez have refused to join a national team training camp in Lahore following the inclusion of Mohammad Amir.

Amir - along with Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif - was banned from cricket for five years after being found guilty of spot-fixing during Pakistan's tour of England in 2010 and was ordered to serve a prison sentence.

But after serving a period of rehabilitation Amir was included by Pakistan for the fitness camp ahead of next month's limited overs series against New Zealand.

"I will not attend the camp as long as Amir is there," Ali told reporters in Lahore. "Hafeez and I can't accept Amir's presence in the camp.

"We are firm on our stance but are ready to talk to officials."

Amir's ban was relaxed in January this year and he was allowed to play domestic matches before joining Bangladesh Premier League franchise Chittagong Vikings when the ICC lifted sanctions against the three players.

Hafeez reportedly turned down an offer to join Chittagong last month before later telling ESPNcricinfo "he could not play with any player who has tarnished and brought a bad name to the country".

Earlier this month, Pakistan coach Waqar Younis told Sky Sports he thought Amir "deserved a second chance".

"I have given a thumbs up to the Pakistan Cricket Board and the selectors that if PCB want to pick Mohammad Amir then it is fine with me and I have no issues with that," he said.

Pakistan's training camp runs from December 21 through to January 7 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.
