Charlotte Edwards will join the Sky Sports team for this summer's limited-overs series between England Women and Pakistan Women.

The former England captain announced her retirement from international cricket in early May, having figured in 191 one-day internationals, 95 T20 internationals and 23 Test matches since making her debut in 1996.

England will play three ODIs against Pakistan, at Leicestershire's Fischer County Ground on June 20, Worcestershire's New Road on June 22 and then at Taunton in Somerset on June 27.

Three T20Is follow those games - at Bristol on July 3, at The Ageas Bowl on July 5 and at Chelmsford on July 7 - with all six matches being broadcast live on Sky Sports 2.

ENGLAND v PAKISTAN SCHEDULE

1st ODI: Mon, June 20
2nd ODI: Wed, June 22
3rd ODI: Mon, June 27

1st T20I: Sun, July 3
2nd T20I: Tue, July 5
3rd T20I: Thu, July 7

Edwards will be able to provide plenty of insight, having scored more ODI and T20I runs than any woman - 5,992 and 2,605 respectively - as well as 1,676 runs in Test cricket, a tally only bettered by another former England star, Janette Brittin (1,935).

Edwards was also named the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year in 2008 and awarded the MBE in 2009, while she became just the second woman to be honoured as one of Wisden's five cricketers of the year in 2014.
