Science in Sport join team for 2016

Science in Sport (SiS) will become the Official Sports Nutrition Supplier to Team Sky in 2016.

Endurance sports nutrition pioneers, Science in Sport (SiS), will become the Official Sports Nutrition Supplier to Team Sky, in a deal which will start from 1st January 2016.

The 2015 Tour de France winners will work with SiS and its team of sports nutrition experts, to create bespoke products, support and advice to fuel their world-class athletes including Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas and new 2016 signing Michał Kwiatkowski.

Nutrition plans will be tailored for each individual athlete and will include a wide range of SiS products, from its SIS GO energy and electrolyte gels, to the new SiS protein range.

Every product will be specifically designed to benefit each athlete's performance, enabling them all to train harder, race faster and recover quicker.

Since 1992, SiS has supplied endurance nutrition products to Olympic and world champions, Tour de France winners and amateur athletes. Britain's most decorated Olympian, Sir Chris Hoy, is also an elite consultant for the company.

SiS products are manufactured in the UK at the company's Innovation Centre in Lancashire. All SiS products are Informed-Sport tested and accredited; SiS worked closely with the HFL anti-doping laboratory to develop a world class evolved three-pronged testing system to minimise the risk of product contamination.
