Michael van Gerwen has the chance to follow Phil Taylor and book his place in the play-offs while Gary Anderson will look to keep the pressure on with a double match week.
With Taylor already qualified, it is down to Van Gerwen, Anderson, Adrian Lewis and James Wade, who will compete in Birmingham on Thursday, live on Sky Sports 2 HD.
Just one point separates three places, and all could change in the space of a night, while Peter Wright and Raymond van Barneveld have no more than an outside chance of an unlikely push for the top four, particularly with Wright playing twice.
Taylor kicks off against Wright who, after back to back losses, faces a battle to qualify. 'The Power' has won five straight games but was disappointed with his performance last week. Having missed last year's play-offs, Taylor will want to carry his form all the way to finals night at The O2 in London.
Anderson then takes on Raymond van Barneveld before his second match against Wright to close the show. Currently third with 15 points, two wins would all but guarantee the 'Flying Scotsman' a play-off place.
Elsewhere James Wade takes on Van Gerwen, who arrives in Birmingham off the back of double victory last week. The Dutchman can secure his place in the play-offs with a win but in fifth place, Wade is still in the hunt.
Fourth-placed Adrian Lewis will play Robert Thornton, looking to keep pace with his rivals. Thornton has already been eliminated having not won since week eight.
