Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor grouped together in Champions League of Darts

The first Champions League of Darts has paired Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor in the round-robin stage.
The Cardiff tournament will be played across September 24-25 and features the world's top eight ranked players. The groupings are based on the standard seeding pattern for PDC events.
The top two players from each group will advance to a semi-final before deciding the final.
