Phil Taylor trumped Michael van Gerwen in the final to claim the Sydney Masters title.
'The Power' won 11-9 to claim a fourth Sydney crown and remain undefeated after 24 matches in the World Series dating back to 2013.
Van Gerwen was leading 7-6 but Taylor levelled with an 11-darter before storming to a 10-7 advantage, before withstanding the Dutchman's fightback.
"This is brilliant and I'm so happy," said Taylor. "I thought it was a cracking final - I thought I had him and then he came back.
"I always get in front of him and he seems to come back at me, but I thought 'you're not going to get me this time'. That's the only way to beat Michael, by fighting and being aggressive.
"I'm going to pat myself on the back because it was a fantastic game."
Taylor previously beat Dave Chisnall 11-4 in the semi-finals while Van Gerwen edged out Peter Wright 11-6.
