Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen and co feature in first round of Perth Masters

Defending champion Phil Taylor will play Corey Cadby in the first round of the Perth Masters, it has been confirmed.

Taylor has won both of the events in Perth since the World Series of Darts was inaugurated in 2014 as well as four consecutive Sydney Masters titles.

Last week's Sydney title included a 6-3 win over Australia's Cadby who Taylor will now face in a rematch.

In another stand-out first-round tie, world No 1 Michael van Gerwen (seeded below Gary Anderson) meets Perth's Kyle Anderson.

The World Series of Darts features the PDC's top eight ranked players as seeds, facing eight unseeded opponents.
