Lakeside champion Scott Waites and Darryl Fitton will enter this year's Grand Slam of Darts after the eight BDO players were confirmed for the tournament.
The PDC revealed over the weekend that Martin 'Wolfie' Adams would return as part of the BDO contingent for this year's Grand Slam as players from both organisations face-off from November 12-20, at Wolverhampton Civic Hall, live on Sky Sports.
Waites, a two-time world champion, will be joined by 'Dazzler' Fitton and Scott Mitchell, who took the Lakeside title in 2015.
Last year's runner-up Jeff Smith, Glen Durrant and debutants Jamie Hughes and Danny Noppert complete the BDO line-up.
Waites has fond memories of the tournament as he battled back from 8-0 down to complete a famous 16-12 win over James Wade in the 2010 final.
Michael van Gerwen is the reigning champion following a 16-13 victory over Phil Taylor in last year's final.
