Friday 16 December 2016 12:22, UK
Catch up on the highlights of day one from the World Darts Championship with our round-up of the best of the action.
The biggest Christmas party of the season is underway at Alexandra Palace and the opening night provided plenty of cracking first-round action - with the world champion the headline attraction.
Gary Anderson took to the oche looking to become only the third man after Eric Bristow and Phil Taylor to win three successive titles, and he got off to a flyer against the owner of arguably the best nickname in sport, Mark Frost - or Frosty The Throwman.
Michael Smith survived a scare against the blink and you'll miss him Ricky Evans, and there were also first-round victories for Jamie Lewis over Mick McGowan and 2004 runner-up Kevin Painter, who knocked out his seeded opponent Jamie Caven.
You can see all the action from day two from the Alexandra Palace from 7pm on Sky Sports Darts HD. Don't forget, you can send us your comments and predictions throughout this year's tournament by tweeting us @SkySportsDarts ... #LoveTheDarts
