Qualifier Qiang Sun didn't get off to the best start at the the PDC World Darts Championships - tripping over the oche on his entrance!

The Chinese qualifier was knocked out in the preliminary round at Alexandra Palace for the second year running, with things going wrong for him from the moment he stepped on stage.

After being introduced to the packed crowd ahead of his clash with youngster Corey Cadby, Sun went to shake hands with the officials but tripped over the raised oche and fell to the floor.

Sun's night went from bad to worse once the action got underway and failed to register a leg as Cadby breezed through the first set.

The Australian continued to dominate on his way a 102.48 average - the highest ever in a World Championship preliminary round match - whitewashing Sun in the second set to claim a 2-0 victory and set up a first-round clash with Joe Cullen.
