Gurney vows to learn from 'schoolboy error' at Ally Pally

Rod Harrington says Daryl Gurney "got it 100 per cent wrong" by showing the crowd he was angry during his win over Mark Webster at the World Darts Championship.
Gurney - who beat former BDO world champion Webster 4-3 to book a quarter-final showdown with No 1 seed Michael van Gerwen - received boos from fans inside the Alexandra Palace on Thursday.
The Ulsterman applauded sarcastically after missing two darts to win the match and then failed to wave to the crowd after nailing a match-sealing double top to reach the last eight for the first time.
Harrington, Mardle and Part discussed Gurney's actions in the Sky Sports studio, with Mardle adding that the 30-year-old "faltered" and should not have reacted in the way that he did.
Gurney took Harrington, Mardle and Part's comments, which you can see in the video at the top of the page, the right way, by tweeting that he will learn from his mistake.
"Heard the comments from @rod180 @Wayne501Mardle and @DarthMaple180 three people I respect immensely I will learn and move on #schoolboyerror," wrote Gurney.
Watch Gurney face 2014 world champion Van Gerwen - and Phil Taylor take on Raymond van Barneveld - in Friday's evening session, live on Sky Sports Darts from 7pm.
Before then, catch the afternoon session from 1pm on the same channel - James Wade faces Peter Wright before two-time reigning champion Gary Anderson battles Dave Chisnall.
