Kim Huybrechts will miss Thursday's Premier League Darts in Cardiff after the PDC confirmed he has withdrawn due to family reasons.

The Belgian was set to line-up at the Motorpoint Arena for Week Nine to complete his final match before elimination, having not earned the point he needed last week, but he has informed the PDC he is unable to travel to the UK.

A statement from the PDC confirmed that Huybrechts is to remain in Belgium with his terminally ill mother and will not feature in his scheduled match with Peter Wright.

"We all send our best wishes to Kim and his family during what is a particularly difficult period," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

"This was not the way that Kim wanted his Betway Premier League season to end, but the needs of his family are foremost at this time."
