Adrian Lewis hit a sensational nine-dart finish on his way to defeating Raymond van Barneveld as his revival in the Premier League continued in Liverpool.
Jackpot, who has won five of his last six matches in the Premier League, was in full control against Barney and underlined his dominance in the fourth leg with a perfect nine darts.
After the pair had traded 180s on their first visits to the oche, Lewis produced another 180 before following up with a treble 20, treble 19 and then a double 12 to claim the nine-darter.
And having notched up his first perfect leg since last April, Lewis went onto claim a comfortable 7-4 victory and boost his chances of securing a top-four finish.
It also represented Lewis' fifth televised nine-darter as well as his third against Van Barneveld in his career.
"It's really special and a great feeling," said Lewis. "I've been threatening a nine-darter for the last couple of weeks in the floor tournaments and tonight I was determined not to miss it.
"The nine-darter's great but to get the win was important too. I knew I had to put in a performance and tonight I've come out a champion.
"Ray's been on a purple patch and even after I hit the nine-darter he was digging in and keeping me under pressure. It keeps me in the mix for the play-offs, I've won five games out of six and it's brilliant."
