Who's already in the play-offs?

Michael van Gerwen will top the Premier League table, irrespective of Thursday's results, so will lead three others into next week's shoot-out for the trophy that he is defending.

Michael Smith, who sat top of the pile in the early weeks, is assured of his place. He currently sits in second, a point ahead of Rob Cross who has also qualified.

So, Anderson or Gurney will join them?

Correct. 'The Flying Scotsman' sits in fourth spot already so he's in pole position. Gurney is the only player who can overtake him.

But Anderson is playing Michael van Gerwen…

If Anderson avoids defeat to Van Gerwen then he qualifies for next week's play-offs regardless of Gurney's result.

But what if Anderson loses?

He is two points ahead of Gurney with a +13 leg difference. If Anderson loses, the door will slightly open for Gurney.

Gurney will have to win and overcome that massive swing in leg difference, which is a problem for him.

What else is at stake on Thursday?

Smith will want to cling onto his second place in the table. A point in the evening's first match against Raymond van Barneveld will seal the deal.

If he loses, Cross would overtake him by beating bottom-of-the-table Simon Whitlock.

Michael van Gerwen averaged 111.57 in his 7-1 victory over Rob Cross to take the top spot in the Premier League table.
