Bantams sign hitman Hannah

Bradford have signed striker Ross Hannah from non-league side Matlock Town on a free transfer.

The 24-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal following an impressive season in which he scored a stunning 52 goals in all competitions for Matlock. City boss Peter Jackson told the club's official website: "I am delighted that Ross has come here. "We had to move quickly because his contract at Matlock expired on May 7 and he has had several Championship and League One clubs enquiring about him. "He has said all along that his gut feeling was to join Bradford and I am thrilled that he has signed for us. "He has an outstanding recent goalscoring record and, whatever league you score them in, scoring goals is one of the most important things in football."
