Bury have signed Watford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond on loan until the end of the season.
With Sunderland loanee Trevor Carson is due to return to Wearside after Tranmere's trip to Gigg Lane a week on Saturday, Shakers boss Richie Barker has moved to secure goalkeeping cover for the rest of the campaign. Bond recently completed a loan spell with League Two outfit Dagenham, where he made five appearances, having spent time with Forest Green in the Blue Square Bet Premier earlier this term. The 18-year-old has represented Wales at Under-17 and Under-19 level and goes straight into the Bury squad for Saturday's game at Preston.
