Shrewsbury defender Jermaine Grandison returned to action on Tuesday following two weeks out with a hamstring injury.

Grandison appeared for the reserves as they beat Wrexham 5-3 and manager Mike Jackson is hopeful that Grandison, along with Dave McAllister and Luke Summersfield will all be back in full training in the coming days. Speaking to the Shropshire Star, Jackson said: "If we can get all of those three back in full training by the end of the week that will be a big step forward for us." Grandison, who has been missing for the Shrews since limping out of the trip to Carlisle two weeks ago with a sore hamstring, played for an hour before being withdrawn.
