Tyrell Waite has left Notts County to join Vanarama Conference club Lincoln on a permanent deal.
Waite was due to be out of contract in the summer but, due to his lack of first-team opportunities at Meadow Lane, both parties have agreed to terminate the remaining months of his deal. The 20-year-old had been on loan at Lincoln and his performances have persuaded Imps boss Chris Moyses to give him a deal until the end of the season. "Strange an emotional day," said Waite via his Twitter account. "Today I leave Notts County after three years - a club which gave me the opportunity to start my professional career and pursue certain achievements. "The feeling is mutual I think that a new chapter in my career is due and I would like to wish all the staff and players/friends the best of luck for the rest of the season. "It's been a pleasure working with everyone involved with the club." Former Ilkeston forward Waite arrived at Notts in 2012 after impressing on a trial and made eight appearances for the club, scoring one goal against Coventry. He also spent time gaining experience with Nuneaton, Ilkeston and Lincoln, where he has now signed permanently.
