Leading scorer has no intention of following Waddock

Aldershot's leading scorer Marvin Morgan has no intention of joining Gary Waddock at Wycombe. Waddock left the Shots to replace Peter Taylor at Adams Park last week and although Morgan is believed to be interesting a number of clubs, the striker is happy to stay with the League Two club. He told the club's official website: "I've said to everyone 'why would I want to go to Wycombe when they're in the relegation zone in League One and we are in the play-off spots and doing so well?' "I think it would be a stupid move. It's not as if they are at the top of the league and flying, so I can't see any point, from my point of view, in going to a team where there is pressure on you to deliver instantly. "I'm happy where I am and I've still got another 16 or 17 months left on my contract and I'm more than happy to be here so you can rule out any move to Wycombe rumours that are going around."
