Sheffield United have completed the signing of winger Ryan Flynn from Falkirk on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old Scot becomes new Blades manager Danny Wilson's second recruit of the summer, following defender Lescinel Jean-Francois to Bramall Lane. Wilson told the club's official website: "I have said before that you need width in your team, we have got something of an imbalance at the moment and Ryan will help us balance that out. "We also need to add players in that area with Mark Yeates gone (to Watford) and we have moved quickly. "Ryan's got good pace and real ability and the main thing is he can service the strikers, which is vitally important because if he produces the right balls we should score more than last season." Flynn began his career with Falkirk before signing for Liverpool as a teenager. After helping the Reds to two FA Youth Cups he returned to the Bairns in 2009, where he scored the club's first ever European goal in a 1-0 victory over FC Vaduz.
