Taylor extends Grecians loan

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has extended the loan deal of Reading forward Jake Taylor until December 31.

Taylor, who arrived at St James' Park in September, has bagged two goals in eight League One starts for the Grecians. The Wales Under-21 international has been given permission to play for the Devon outfit in the FA Cup, but will not feature in the club's first-round replay with Walsall on Wednesday as he was ineligible to take part in the original tie between the two sides. Reading's assistant manager Nigel Gibbs told the Reading Post on Tuesday that the club would welcome loan offers for players on the fringes of the Royals' first-team squad before the window slams shut on Thursday.
