Shrewsbury skipper Ian Sharps was impressed by Jermaine Grandison after the defender returned from injury against Northampton .
Grandison sustained a hamstring injury in the FA Cup win against Newport on November 12 and despite a disappointing draw against Northampton, Sharps was pleased with how the youngster applied himself on his return. "He was probably lacking a little bit of match fitness coming into the game," Sharps told the club website. "But I thought he handled himself well. "Jermaine's a natural and he can play anywhere across the back four and do a job. "Northampton were decent up front, but as a back four we coped quite well with them in the end and were unfortunate not to win the game."
