Preston have agreed a fee for Cork City striker Graham Cummins according to a statement released by the Airtricity Premier League side.

Cummins scored 24 goals as the Irish outfit claimed the Division One title in 2011. Although Preston have offered no comment on the story at this stage, a statement on Cork's official website claims an undisclosed fee has been agreed and that Cummins is set to discuss personal terms with the npower League One team. Reports in Ireland suggest the figure for the transfer of the 24-year-old stands at around 100,000 euros. "Cork City FC wish to announce that the club has reluctantly accepted a bid for Graham Cummins from Preston North End for an undisclosed sum," the statement read. "Graham is currently travelling to the UK to discuss personal terms. The club do not wish to comment further on the matter at this time." Cummins would become Graham Westley's fifth signing since taking over at North End earlier this month, following Andrew Proctor, Jamie McAllister, Chris Holroyd and Alex Marrow into Deepdale.
