AFC Wimbledon striker Jason Prior suffered a suspected double leg break in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Crawley.

Prior, who had only just returned to fitness after a knee injury, is in hospital following a rash sixth-minute tackle from Town midfielder Hope Akpan. Dons physio Mike Rayner told the club website: "The feedback so far from the hospital, without the X-ray, is that he has broken both his tibia and fibula. "He has been put in plaster and is in a lot of pain at the moment. He is staying in the hospital and they will decide whether to operate on him. We will update everyone as soon as we know more. "It is a nasty one, but we will look after Jason. We got him back when he had his knee problem and we will get him right again and hopefully he will be back in a Wimbledon shirt in the near future."
