Notts County's new striker Enoch Showunmi is raring to go and has set himself a career-high target of 20 goals next season.

Showunmi, released by npower League One rivals Tranmere, signed a two-year deal at Meadow Lane after passing a medical on Tuesday. "I always try to give 100% in the games that I play. I've got a bit of pace and power and hopefully I'll bring a bit of excitement to the fans and score as many goals as possible," Showunmi told the club's official website. "Next season I'm going for a target of 20 goals, that would be the most I've scored in a season in my career, but hopefully with the players here I can achieve that. "It's good to be sorted out and to be at a great club. I had a few people contacting me, but I've chosen Notts County. It's a great set-up having walked around the club and meeting the manager. I'm looking forward to the new challenge."
