Kevin Blackwell thinks Gregg Wylde will reap the benefits of last week's watching brief when he debuts for Bury against Southend.
Wylde joined the Shakers on loan from Bolton last week but did not feature in the matchday squad for Saturday's entertaining 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. The former Rangers winger is poised to make his bow this weekend in the FA Cup and Blackwell hopes a familiar policy will help Wylde hit the ground running. "I like to bring people in and say to them 'look at what we do and see how we play', instead of throwing them in," Blackwell told the Bury Times. "We only had Friday with him in training and I wanted him to watch us play against Bournemouth before putting him in the side."
