Carlisle have signed former Blyth Spartans defender Nathan Buddle until the end of the season, subject to paperwork.
The 21-year-old centre-half has put pen to paper on a half-season contract following an extended trial at Brunton Park. The club has the option to extend his deal for another 12 months. Buddle began his career at Hartlepool and in the summer of 2013 moved on to Blyth Spartans, where he made a total of 83 appearances, scoring five goals.
