Clark in selection headache

Huddersfield's fringe players have given Lee Clark "something to think about" for this weekend's clash at Sheffield Wednesday.

Versatile defender Tom Clarke, who has just returned from a loan spell at Leyton Orient, and striker Alan Lee, currently in the middle of a three-game ban, were on target for the Terriers in a behind-closed-doors encounter against Leeds. Town's development coach Steve Watson told the club's official website: "Leeds had the likes of Leigh Bromby, Mikael Forssell and Ramon Nunez in their side and provided us with a very tough test. "We played some very good football, especially in midfield. They have definitely given Lee something to think about ahead of the weekend. "Alan looks superb at the moment. He looks very fit and took his goal well. Both wingers were very impressive, especially Danny Cadamarteri, who looked dangerous on either wing." On goalscorer Clarke, Watson added: "You can tell that the loan at Leyton Orient has done wonders for his confidence. He defended very well and looked composed on the ball. The whole team played very well. It was very pleasing."
