Jordan Obita has returned to Reading following a two-month loan spell with League One outfit Oldham Athletic.

The 19-year-old winger's deal expired after Monday's 1-1 draw at home to Colchester, during which he came on as a substitute to make his 10th appearance for the Latics. Manager Lee Johnson told the club website: "I have spoken to Jordan and he has enjoyed his time here. "Reading have a new manager (Nigel Adkins) and Jordan is keen to go back and impress him. "I would like to thank Jordan for his service and also to his parent club for allowing him to join us."
