Brentford have signed Will Grigg after the striker rejected a new contract offer from League One rivals Walsall.

The Northern Ireland international, who turns 22 on Wednesday, has agreed a three-year deal at Griffin Park after his Saddlers contract expired. The Bees will pay Walsall compensation due to the player's age. Brentford sporting director Mark Warburton told club website: "We are delighted to secure the signing of Will Grigg on a three-year deal. "He is another piece of our jigsaw for 2013/14 and another young, talented player who has committed his future to the club for the next three years."
