Tranmere are paying the price for their endeavours on the pitch with an injury crisis, according to captain John Welsh.
Rovers have slid down the League One table in recent months following a run of one win in 12 games. The situation has not been made any easier by the congestion in the treatment room, with key figures such as Enoch Showunmi, Zoumana Bakayogo, Andy Robinson and Adam McGurk among those on the sidelines "We're giving it our all, everything we've got, and I hope the fans see that," said Welsh. "The lads know it and we're putting our bodies on the line at times and if you do that, that's what's going to happen - you're going to pick up injuries. "We've got a great physio there, Greg (Blundell), who'll get the lads right, I'm sure."
